“The Spongebob Musical – Youth Edition”

The Litchfield Community Youth Theatre production of “The Spongebob Musical – Youth Edition” is coming up this weekend in the Bernie Aaker Auditorium in Litchfield. The show times are this Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.

Director Angela Horwath says this is a show that’s been done on Broadway. She says it’s like the Spongebob characters become human and there are some good themes addressed and great music.

Horwath says the show is incredible whether or not you like the Spongebob cartoon. She says she made her co-director and music director Mila Hanson watch the first season of Spongebob. Hanson says there are about 3 dozen children from 3rd through 10th grades from all over the area in the production. She encourages people to see the show this weekend.

The Spongebob Musical can be seen this Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and on Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Bernie Aaker Auditorium in Litchfield.
