Vehicle Goes Through the Ice

The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office responded to Long Lake – just north of Willmar – on Saturday afternoon at 5:25 for a report of a vehicle going through the ice. A Chevy Silverado broke through the ice about 150 yards from the south access on the lake into about 3-feet of water. The vehicle was not completely submerged and the driver got out of the vehicle safely.
