Doris Birkemeyer

92-year-old DORIS JEAN BIRKEMEYER of Cokato passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at the Cokato Manor where she was well taken care of the past few months.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025 from 2-to-3 p.m. at Johnson Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 11 at 3 p.m. at Johnson Hagglund Funeral Home followed by a light lunch.

A 5 p.m. sunset burial will be held at Lake Ripley Cemetery in Litchfield.  

Doris is survived by her son – Kris

Daughter in law – Bridget Birkemeyer

Grandchildren – William Brikemeyer, Melanie Birkemeyer (Joel Grave), Hannah Birkemeyer (Zach Fortun), and Rebecca Ash (Eric)

Great grandchildren – Orrie, Elaine, Owen, Perseus, Palmer, Bohdi, and Berlyn

Brother – Paul Hillmeyer

Sisters – Mary Cole, Ruth Johnson, and Susie Hillmeyer

Sisters-in-law – Patricia Hillmeyer and Susan Hillmeyer
