Merle Hanson

91-year-old MERLE HANSON of Litchfield passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Meeker Memorial Hospital in Litchfield.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 28, 2024 at 2 P.M. at First Lutheran Church in Litchfield. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. 

Burial will be held in Lake Ripley Cemetery.  Military Honors will be provided by the Litchfield Military Honor Guard.

Merle is survived by his children – Mickey Speck (Douglas Speck) of Barboursville, Virginia, Rick Hanson (& Sharon) of Granite Falls, and Kelley Hanson of Richmond, Virginia

Grandchildren – Megan Gorres, Reid Hanson, Natalie Speck, Olivia Silva, Julianne Speck, Laurel Speck, Jillian Blumberg and Kayla Blumberg

Great-grandchildren – Lane Wohlman, Mason Gorres and baby-to-be Hanson
