78-year-old ROGER PATTEN of Litchfield passed away on August 28 at Talamore Senior Living in St. Cloud.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, Sept. 5, at 2 p.m. at Cornerstone Church in Litchfield. Visitation will be from 12:30-to-2 at the church on Friday.

A private family burial will be held at Lake Ripley Cemetery in Litchfield. Military honors will be provided by the Litchfield Military Honor Guard.

31-year-old AMANDA (WITTENBERG) HAUGEN of Crosslake, formerly of South Haven, passed away on Monday, August 18th.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 22, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kimball. Visitation is on Thursday from 4-to-7 p.m. at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Annandale, and one hour before the service.

Burial will be at Fairhaven Cemetery.

90-year-old EVERETT G. HANTGE of Hutchinson passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025 at Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson.  

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 21^st at 11 a.m. at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Litchfield.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 20^th from 5-to-8 p.m. at the Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hutchinson and will continue one hour before the service at the church.  

Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Hutchinson.  Military honors will be by the Hutchinson Memorial Rifle Squad.

104-year-old FLORENCE REZEK of Litchfield, formerly of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025, at the home of her daughter, Ginny Olberding.

Visitation will be held from 11-to-12 on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the Church of St. Philip in Litchfield with the Rosary at 10:30 a.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 p.m. at the Church of St. Philip in Litchfield.

Burial will be at a later date in Omaha.
 
Florence is survived by four generations including her children – Ginny Olberding, Carol Jacobs, Chuck (& Sharon) Rezek, and Tony Rezek

A funeral service will be held at First Lutheran Church in Litchfield on Tuesday, August 19, at 11 A.M. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service.

63-year-old RENEE MARLYS TWARDY passed away peacefully on August 9, 2025, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with breast cancer.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 23, at Johnson-Haglund Funeral Home in Litchfield from 11 A.M.-to-2:30 P.M.  

Burial will follow at 2:45 P.M. at Lake Ripley Cemetery.
