53-year-old MELISSA KAY (LATTERELL) GRIMSGARD passed away on March 29, 2026, after a courageous fight with stage four colorectal cancer, at home, surrounded by her loving family at her bedside. 

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 7, at 11 A.M. at Zion Lutheran Church in Litchfield.

Visitation will be held from 4-to-7 P.M. on Monday, April 6, at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Service in Litchfield and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.

Melissa is survived by her husband – Eric

Children – Anna (& Michael) Trebil and Anders Grimsgard

Parents – LaVerne and Ramona Latterell

Siblings – LeAnn Larson, Lori Martin, Lisa Boie, and Mark Latterell; many nieces and nephews

Parents-in-law – David and Cookie Grimsgard

Brother-in-law – Darin (& Brierly) Grimsgard; and two nieces.

In honor of Melissa’s love of flowers, the family welcomes floral tributes. Memorial donations may also be made to HealthPartners Frauenshuh Cancer Center in Melissa’s honor.

75-year-old JOYCE C. LAABS of Kandiyohi passed away on Tuesday, March 24, at the Hilltop Health Care Center in Watkins.
 
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. followed by her celebration of life service at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 6, at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar.

Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 7, at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls.

69-year-old DAVID L. SCHWARZROCK of Dassel passed away on Tuesday March 24, 2026 at Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson. 

A memorial service will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday March 30, 2026 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Hutchinson.  Visitation will be held from 9-to-11 A.M. at the church prior to the service.

77-year-old JUDY C. WALLS of Litchfield passed away on Wednesday March 11, 2026 at Ecumen Assisted Living in Litchfield surrounded by family. 

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
