96-year-old MAHALA ANN KEMP of Litchfield, formerly of California, passed away on October 16, 2025 at the Meeker Memorial Hospital in Litchfield, surrounded by family. 

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 12, at 2 p.m. at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield. Visitation is one hour before the service.

Burial will be in the Hector Cemetery.

84-year-old DAYTON ORRIN PETERSON of Grove City passed away on October 31.  

A memorial service will be held on Monday, Nov. 10, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Grove City.  

Visitation will be on Sunday, Nov. 9, from 4-to-6 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church and one hour before the service on Monday.  

Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Grove City.

Dayton is survived by his wife – Karen Peterson of Grove City

Son – Michael (Debra) Peterson of Grove City

Grandchildren – Shawnna (Jay) Rude of Grand Rapids, Jen (Brian) Kingery of Olivia, and Jeffrey (Molly) Peterson of Grove City

91-year-old SHIRLEY MAY SCOTT of Darwin passed away at her home on October 28, 2025.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at the Litchfield United Methodist Church at 2 P.M. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Shirley is survived by her children – Steven, John (& Angela), Kathryn, Deanna (& LeRoy) and Judy

61-year-old ROSS HAGGEN passed away on October 8, 2025. Ross performed at the Forest City Stockade for nearly 20 years with his family – The Haggen Family Singers.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on November 8, 2025, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Buffalo.

Ross is survived by his wife – Kimberly

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at 11 a.m. with visitation starting at 9 a.m. – all at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Watkins.

Burial will be at the St. Anthony Cemetery in Watkins.

A funeral service will be held at noon on Thursday, October 30 at the Church of St. Philip in Litchfield, with visitation beginning at 11 a.m.
